I worked with Evan around the same time Brad Micklea did. My first interaction with him was when we had to share a hotel room in Las Vegas for three days during a work-related conference. With anyone else, that would have been an awkward and uncomfortable experience. But Evan had a tremendous talent for building rapport very quickly and we had established an authentic (and humor-filled) connection within minutes of meeting. What a wonderful first memory (and first impression) to have of someone. Evan was a good guy, and I'm glad I had the good fortune to know him, even if it was only briefly.

I only worked with Evan (back at Quest in the early 2000s) for a short time but I was immediately struck by his good humour, openness and work ethic. It was always a pleasure to work with him and he fit into our motley team from the start. I'm very sorry for your loss, but I hope you take some comfort from knowing that everyone who met him, however briefly, came away better for it.

I am stunned and deeply saddened by one of my most memorable colleagues I have had the privilege of working with and knowing. From the first day I met Evan, his quick wit and humour always brought a smile to your face either with his quick remarks or raising of his eyebrow. I'm grateful to have shared many laughs and experiences with such an amazing person. Evan always spoke his mind and kept things real. He taught me that 'work is work' but family is the most important thing. My sincere condolences to Shelly, Poppy and the entire Kyriazopoulos family.

I am so so sorry to hear that Evan has left us, at least in this physical form. I remember our working days at HP so fondly. An extremely talented, gifted technical solutions architect with energy to burn. His superior mind coupled with that smile and wonderful personality will be missed by all. I remember him as a great team member, honest and principled and incredibly loyal to me and his team. I could always depend on Evan regardless if I called him at 7 am or 10 pm. He would rise to any challenge and deliver what needed to be done. I am grateful for the unwavering support he gave me and I will never forget his kindness. He has left a strong legacy behind. We will miss you Evan K. May the love of so many help Shelley and a Poppy navigate the difficult days and months ahead as they figure out how they live without your beautiful spirit. Your light will continue to shine bright through them.

Just wanted to say that it was a great privilege to work with Evan. He was incredibly smart and driven, helping me push through obstacles that seemed daunting at the time.
