Mrs. Vaccaro was my principal at Glen Ravine during my time there and I was quite the troublemaker. No matter how many times I ended up in her office, she always gave me the benefit of the doubt and she always believed I could be better and tried to help me improve. The last time I saw her was 2018 at a store and she bought my items. Just an absolutely wonderful soul that I will never forget. I’m so sorry for your loss. I know it’s late but I still felt I had to say something.

Mrs. Vaccaro crossed my mind this morning. She was one of my most memorable teachers. She taught me in grade 3, 5 & 6 at Knob Hill Public School. She was an amazing teacher. Kind, encouraging and definitely left an impact. I am so deeply saddened to hear about her passing. I loved her! What a wonderful woman. My deepest condolences to Mr. Vaccaro and family.

Dear Tony,
I was so saddened to hear of Vickie's passing. I was only recently visiting my mother Margaret in Ireland and she showed me one of the many letters and pictures Vickie would send to her regularly telling of your travels and keeping in touch.
Although it has been many years since we have met I have never forgotten our time together and the special connection between our families.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and Vickie's family at this difficult time.
I am so sorry.
With Love and Best Wishes from Perth, Australia.

It was with both surprise and deep sadness that I heard about Vickie from friends living in Wasaga Beach, and very much want to express my condolences to Tony and family members. I taught with Vickie at Knob Hill Jr. P.S., and admired her professionalism, attention to the needs of both students and staff, and also parents. I will remember Vickie's wonderful sense of humour, her cheering smile and the way that she daily gave of her time and attention to all of us, and especially the students. Her enthusiasm, and skills as an caring teacher and staff member, made Knob Hill Jr. every day, for myself and others, an inviting, supportive and welcoming school, with a great school spirit. Her legacy for me will be of remembering both a colleague and friend who always put the extra time selflessly into helping and encouraging others. We will miss Vickie very much.

I wish to send my deepest sympathy and condolences to Tony and family. I remember Vickie as a caring and hard-working administrator, who was dedicated to her staff and students. I enjoyed her sense of humour and practical attitude towards life. I regret that I will be unable to attend the service, as I will be out of country at the time.
She will be greatly missed by all!

We express our deepest sympathies. We are totally shocked and saddened. The great memories we have of our times together will never be forgotten. The fabulous dinners followed by Beatles' music and discussions, New Year's Eve parties, concerts, and along with working with her will remain some of our highlights of our lives. We miss her already. She was a fabulous person!
Peace and Love,

I am SO sorry to hear about Auntie Vicki.... she took me to my first blue jays game! She made such an effort to be a part of my life when my Dad was still alive. She was there with me at my Dads funeral. She was the one who held my hand. I am sure he was there to meet you Vicki. Please accept my warmest and most heartfelt condolences to Tony, family and friends. I’m so sorry for your loss. Big Hugs!!
