Jovita Elva DeSouza
It is with sadness that our family announces the passing of our sister, Jovita Elva DeSouza on the 25th day of February, 2019, at Scarborough Grace Hospital after a long illness with Alzheimer’s. Jovita was born on April 2, 1932 in Georgetown, Guyana predeceased by her parents Guilherme and Hesteria DeSouza, sister Patricia and brothers Joseph (Ken) and Anthony (Gerald). She is survived by her sisters, Clare Branco, Bernice DeCastro and Bridget, and brothers Albert, Leroy, Bernard (Marion) and Paul (Annie), 21 nieces and nephews and 18 great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Society.
