Obituary of Mr. Jack Maurice Hammond

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Jack Hammond at the incredible age of 97 on November 22, 2018.  Beloved husband of Betty , father of Wendy and Fred, Wayne and Anne, father in law to Lee, partner of Ann, grandfather to Mark, James and Janice, great grandfather to Zachary, William, Graydon, Emerson, Sloane and Felicity.  Friend to many, loved by all. 

Jack lived a long and very fulfilling life.  An accomplished violinist and musician, veteran sailor of WWII, world traveler, a great angler, fantastic swimmer, Jack loved life to its fullest.  There was never a day where Jack didn’t show a warm smile, a comforting hello, the politest of humans, and always looking for humour wherever possible, regardless of what life presented Jack.
