Obituary of Mrs. Margaret Betty Garcia

It is with our deepest sorrow that the Garcia family announces the passing of Margaret Betty Garcia on the afternoon of Wednesday October 24, 2018 in her 78th year. Betty is survived by her children Phillip, Jessica, Michael Dwayne, Kevin, and Gregory (Venessa), loving grandchildren Cassandra, Violet, Peyton and Grayson.  Siblings Dorothy, Lydia, Melvin (Jackie) and Heather (Karlis), brothers-in-law Trevor (Hermin), Courtney (Elaine), and Peter (Kathleen). Betty will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews. “Mrs. G.” will also be remembered by her “honorary children”: Solange, Stefano, Pauline, and Jo.  Predeceased by her former husband, Michael “Bing” Garcia and niece Catherine Patricia Wright.

A memorial service will be held next year in her future resting place in Beechville, N.S.
