Obituary of Miss Elaine Conner

CONNER, Joan Elaine Peacefully on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Shepherd Terrace Retirement Residence in her 89th year. Elaine was the devoted friend and companion of the late Lois Harper, loving godmother of Susan Theaker and special friend of Stephanie, Laurel and Margaret. Elaine was a dedicated teacher for many years with the TDSB and inspired and influenced many young people as head of the Music Department at Agincourt Collegiate and later in the Guidance Department at Sir John A. MacDonald Collegiate. Elaine was an accomplished pianist and music was one of the great joys of her life and one that she loved and shared to the end. Visitation will be held at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Ave. E., Agincourt (east of Kennedy Rd), on Monday, September 24th at 1:00 p.m. with a service to follow in the Ogden Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment Parkview Cemetery, Waterloo on Tuesday, September 25th at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson Society Canada or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
