Despite being sick, I am deeply shocked at Patrick’s sudden passing. Patrick was a relative of mine, my dad’s cousin actually, but our relationship was more of friends. Years ago he found the time to explain the game of American Football to me, it’s strategy, placement of players etc….We would get together with Phil to see major games like the Superbowl, Grey Cup and Basketball finals for several years. Whenever I was nearby his workplace, Patrick will always find the time for us to have a talk about several things like current sports happenings, and sometimes a little chat about the “old” country. Patrick would always extended an open invitation to see a game with him or to his backyard for a cookout and a few beverages. I will truly miss him especially when going by his place of work.
Rest in Peace my Friend.

I will always remember Uncle Patrick as fun loving and a kid at heart. I cherish the many barbecues, family gatherings, spending summers at his house and just all the good times we had throughout the years. Love you and may you rest in peace.
