It hurts me deeply that I couldn't be here today...but I know for Grandma it's okay. Whatever the reason or situation I know she would want me to take care of it and to do it to the best of my ability.
For me, Grandma was an idol in everything she did. She was an educator, she was a wife, she was a mother, she was grace, she was joy, she was laughter, she was love...she was love! She showed love to complete strangers and even more to those dearest to her.
Yes, she will be missed but no she's not gone! She is here...she is with you and she is with me. Even as I write this I can smile because I can feel it deep in my bones and I truly know this with all my heart!
Grandma we miss you dearly...I miss you dearly! But we will continue to share your lessons, teachings and continue to spread the love you showed to all of us here. I know you are with me now and will be with me tomorrow.

Auntie Daphne always exhibited such grace and class. I can vividly recall her beautiful smile always punctuated by her inimitable chuckle. So pleasant... so pleasing... so warm.

Daphne was a beautiful soul. She was a kind, warm, gentle, loving, and caring person. The world would be a better place if there were more people like her.
My family feels blessed to have known her. We are saddened by her passing. She will be greatly missed.

It was with sadness that we read of Daphne’s passing in today’s Toronto Star. We knew Daphne at St. Dunstan’s for many years. Often we would chat and have a quiet laugh after church. Daphne was the epitome of grace and class, always pleasant and with a ready smile. We have missed her at Sunday services and will always remember her beautiful face and her gentle and pleasant nature. Ruddy & Family,
May you find comfort to know that Daphne is is in a place of rest, where there is no Day or Night' a place where the gates are always open, to welcome us all, once we chose to seek that place.Daphne as I came to know her was such a warm, quiet and forgiving person.May you the family and us friends live and savour the good memories that she let behind, ( think of the boxing day levies and many others)

My heartfelt condolences to Ruddy and Family on the passing of Miss Daphne. Ruddy we spoke last week and I promised to visit her in the Nursing home and am so sorry that I missed the opportunity to make it happen. May God bless her soul and may she rest in peace.
