To the family of the late Barbara Hodgins:
We will always remember the kindness of Barbara to be part of the memorial service of our son, Hollis, at St. John's United Church, May 1990. That was also the wedding day of her own son!

To the Hodgins famly
My connection to Barbara goes back to our childhood when she, Sheila Siberly and I were friends on Coxwell Ave and Glebeholme Blvd.
As teenagers, I went to Riverdale CI where I studied Chello, Sheila to Molton College and Barb to Branson Hall. So with all our activities it was hard to keep up our friendship, it was always special that Barb was studying with Dr. Peaker. It was very special to me that your mother played the organ at my wedding. As I subsequently lived in a number of different places, we lost touch and I did not know of her connection with the Amadeus Choir. The last time our paths crossed, your family was on your way to your cottage and we to our home in Sturgeon Falls and we were in the same restaurant. I am sorry that due to a serious operation from which I am recovering I will be unable to attend the service. I am quite familiar with Jubilee United Church through my connection with the Kiwanis Music Festival. Your mother was a very special lady and I join you in remembering her at this time.
Sincerely
Sybil

We have many happy memories of Barb's musical talents when she was choir director and organist at St John's United Church.. Also she was a fun companion when a group went to Oberamergau - she played the piano and led singsongs at night. This was a perfect end to a great day of travelling with a group of friends.

On behalf of all of us at Camp Wanapitei - the current year round staff, community and the alumni community - our sincere sympathies on the passing of Barbara Hodgins. We hope she's catching the biggest fish, enjoying the cottage, directing the choir, and playing a great piano in the sky.
Love from,
Woody, JJ, Trish, and Erin

Dear Glenn, Erin, Andrea, Murray and grandchildren,
May you be immersed in memories of your mother and grandmother as you move through this weekend and the months ahead. I wish that I had been around to hear her playing the piano at Wanapitei.
Love and warm thoughts,
JJ
