Dear Sue and family, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Don. I have known you and him for a long time and over the years Don had never changed. Always friendly and sincerely interested in how I was. I looked forward to seeing him at the CIBC golf functions twice a year where we would “catch up”. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend last fall. He will be sorely missed. My deepest sympathy for your loss. Lynne

Dear Susan, Donald and Nancy
Over the years we have worked closely with Don who has been a tireless volunteer on behalf of the Barbados Ball and the diaspora. His efforts have paid dividends in our fundraising and charitable work. Don also brought to our social encounters a sense of humour and positivity surpassed by none.
In this time of sorrow and reflection we stand with you in remembering Don as a great man. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

When I think of Don, I will always remember an inevitably friendly greeting, a sincere question of "how's it going" or "how are you" and a willingness to listen to an answer and share some thoughts, usually about the bank but maybe not. He was a good colleague and friend. God bless you his family as you grieve your loss. allan petrie

Susan, Jean and I are very saddened to learn this morning of Don's passing. As others have attested, Don was invariably an upbeat and friendly guy. I first met Don in 1966 when he was Accountant at Bloor & Willingdon Br. where Jean had just started working for the bank. I soon learned of Don's unwavering support of his staff which I know never wavered throughout his career. Don will surely be missed by his many friends and your family. Please accept our heartfelt condolences on your loss.
