My Heart felt condolences to the bereaved family of the late Mr. Tueson Dunstan. Though I cannot come to see Him personally for the last time, deep in my heart I'll be missing our happy memories together. Exchanging jokes, about canada, family experiences more especially on being successful in one's career. I cannot forget his regard for me just like his own son as he was too a father for me. His advises will never be forgotten. Our prayers for his eternal Repose.
He addressed me Mr. EVERYTHING which I'll never forget it from him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family as we remember Tueson, a very special gentleman and excellent teacher in our Business Studies Department at West Hill C.I. We were called from Sunnybrook Hospital when Tueson had the terrible car accident 32 years ago. With his halo and not moving, except for one finger, he said, "I am going to walk out of here." We watched him make a marvelous recovery, exercising his hands first on electronic keyboard, then electric, then a manual typewriter in order to gain strength. He was constantly exercising at Lyndhurst Lodge wanting to get back as soon as possible to the classroom. It was a privilege to have visited him at Providence Health Centre 10 days before he died, to hear him say how proud he is of his family, 3 children and 2 grandchildren.
Blessings to the family

To Tueson’s Children. I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of your dear Father. Your Father was one of the most wonderful human beings I have ever met. Tueson and I taught together for many years at West Hill Collegiate in the Business Department. I remember all too well how he valued education and saw it as a privilege and a pathway to a better life for young people. I can’t forget his frustration with those students who seemed to squander their opportunity for a good education. Then when that terrible car accident happened, we would often go up to Lyndhurst Lodge to visit him. What I remember most about those Hospital visits was that instead of us cheering your Dad up, he would cheer us up with his outright optimism and steely determination to get better. He was adamant that he was going to walk again and he wouldn’t accept anything less than a full recovery. As you well know, he was eventually able to walk again. In June of that year, he was well enough to attend the final staff meeting at School. The staff had bought him a sweatshirt with the logo “Walking Tall” on it. When he walked into that final meeting wearing that sweatshirt, the entire staff jumped up and starting clapping. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house. The memory of that beautiful moment is as clear to me now as it was back then. Tueson was truly loved and respected by those who worked with him. Knowing your Father was an honour. Whenever your Dad spoke of you, his children, he spoke with great pride and great love. May the wonderful memories you have of your precious Father give you comfort at this difficult time. Most sincerely, Linda Nitsou

My deepest condolences to Mr. Dunstan’s family. The world has lost an amazing person and teacherbut heaven has gained an angel.
Even though I graduated over 20 years ago from West Hill CI Mr. Dunstan has always been in my thoughts. He was a true educator. He was a game changer for many young black students.
I remember the first day of grade 9 law. Sitting at the back of the class was not an options. Before I could get comfortable he said “young lady ( in a familiar Jamaican accent) strumming his long fingers on the desk in front of him, “this is your seat”.
He keeps a watchful eye and brought out the best in me. He always had faith that I could be great and work to my full potential.
As a parent, I hope that my children’s educational journey can be enriched with an educator like Mr. Dunstan.
My he rest in eternal peace. In our hearts forever. Warrior on three one ... two ... three..

Greetings, I found Mr Dunstan to be more than just a teacher. He was also a comforting friend when he was ready. I also miss when he'd say things like " Where's this Donna person ?", or " Where's Peter and his gang ?" . I also miss when I'd get up to sharpen my pencil, and boys would imitate Mr Dunstan by saying " Who's this Dwight fellow walking around ?". He also knew how to be firm when the time came. In short, he was a special and socially skillful teacher. I also miss seeing him look relaxed in his Plymouth or Dodge K car. Bless his soul.
