Annette Cecile Van Sluytman (nee Perreira) November 10, 1937 - April 12, 2017 - It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, and Sister who passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Palliative Care Unit in Toronto on April 12, 2017. She was the loving wife of the late Aloysuis Van Sluytman, mother to Pamela (Gregory), Richard (Gillian), Joanne (Tony), Mary Gail (Michael), Suzanne (Nigel), Andrew (Debbie). Grandmother of: Elliott, Allister, Alicia, Roderick, Domonique, Ryan, Alan, Henk, Melissa, Mario, Morgan, Michaela, Janea (Pat) and Jim. Great Grandmother of Keegan, Anesia, Nikhel, Zyler, Ashlyn, Keegan, Chloe, Lars, Cheyenne and Landon. Sister of Bernard (Rose), Dennis (Joy), Thecla, Carmel, Dolores, Imelda, and Vibert. Family and friends may call at the Ogden Funeral Homes, 4164 Sheppard Avenue, Scarborough, Ontario for visitation on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, 21 Leith Hill Road, North York, Ontario, on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11:30 a.m.. Interment will follow immediately at Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, Ontario. A repast will be held at St. Timothy's Church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:Donate.Sunnybrook.ca . A tribute to "Annette Van Sluytman" has been established to support the Palliative Care Unit.
