WARD, George Calder - August 22, 1922 - July 11, 2015 Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital on July 11, 2015, at the age of 92. Born, raised and lived on Sammon Avenue in Toronto, George is survived by his sisters-in-law, Patricia Ward and Rita Ward and by his nieces and nephews, Anne Butler, Richard Ward, Bruce Ward, Karen Ward, Debroah Trumbley and Bryan Ward. He is predeceased by his brothers William, Richard (Pete) and Harry. George served in the RCAF during World War II, he then worked his entire career at American Standard in Toronto. Friends will be received by the family at the Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Agincourt, on Thursday from 12 noon to 1 p.m., followed by a graveside service at Pine Hills Cemetery at approximately 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Salvation Army would be greatly appreciated.
