Obituary of Mrs. Christine Fairbairn

Fairbairn, Christine (née Soteros) May 13, 1929 - November 25, 2024

Anthe Fairbairn died peacefully in her sleep on November 25 with her son holding her hand.

Predeceased by her parents Peter Soteros (Paniotis Soteropoulos) and Beatrice Yellowlees (Panagoula Gialelis) and siblings Jim (Norine), Elaine (Bob) and Stan (Peg). She will be sorrowfully missed by her sister Harriet (Rudi) and brother Alex along with numerous nieces and nephews as well as grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

Loving mother to Scott (Patricia), second mother to Sean (Kendell) and grandmother to Isla and Adriano, she leaves an indelible hole in all our hearts.

As per Mom's wishes she will be cremated without a funeral service. Interment of her ashes will take place spring 2025 in Windsor. After 15 years away I'm taking you home, Mom.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to your charity of choice.

The Alzheimer's Society has provided an incredible support network for me throughout Mom's battle with this disease that took her from me twice.
