Mr. Geoffry Cooper

Obituary of Mr. Geoffry Cooper

Please share a memory of Mr. Geoffry to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Geoffry Michael Cooper, age 64, passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024, at Scarborough Grace Hospital. Born in Santragachi, India, on April 9, 1960, he was the son of Ronald and Alice Cooper. He was the beloved husband of Cheryl Cooper, and they shared 40 beautiful years together.

Geoffry worked at Nestle and his colleagues remember him as being a generous, fun, supportive, and hard worker.

He enjoyed fishing, cracking jokes, dancing with his wife, and playing with his grandson. He will be remembered for his infectious laugh, warm countenance, selflessness, hospitality, and love for his family which has no bounds.

Geoffry was blessed with a large and loving family. He is survived by his wife Cheryl, daughter Stephanie (Carl), son Nigel (Amelia), and grandson Austin. He taught his children the importance of faith, family, a positive attitude, good work ethic, and by virtue of his big heart – an unwavering care for others.  He will be greatly missed by his siblings Rodney (Gwen), Christine (Tommy), Corrine (Francis), John (Cheryl), Lorraine (James), June (Wilson), David (Naomi), and in-laws Phillip (Sharon), Ralph, Anna (Malcolm), and Carleton (Michelle). As well as all his nieces and nephews who adored him. He is predeceased by his parents and younger brother, Peter.

Geoffry’s family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone for their ongoing support throughout this difficult time. Geoffry is a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. He has left a hole in all our hearts that cannot be filled. We find comfort in the fact that his soul lives on and we have precious memories that will live in our hearts forever. Until we meet again Geoffry. We love you.

“Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.”
