Obituary of Mrs. Ambrozine Agatha Francis

Mrs. Ambrozine Agatha "Jean" Francis, aged 97, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024, in Scarborough, Ontario, surrounded by loved ones and cherished memories.

Born on January 24, 1927, in Pusey Hill, Manchester, Jamaica, Jean embodied style, grace, and loyalty throughout her remarkable life. She was a pillar of strength, beacon of kindness and wisdom, and deeply rooted in her faith and love of family.

Jean dedicated her life to nurturing and uplifting those around her, leaving an indelible mark on her family and the hearts of all who knew her. Her warmth, laughter, love of life, and unwavering spirit made her a beloved matriarch, friend, and confidante. Jean had an active life. She enjoyed activities like exercising, bowling and attending sporting events. She had a passion for dancing, singing, traveling, and social gatherings filled with love, laughter and music, creating countless cherished moments for her loved ones.

She is survived by three sons, Ralford “Bobsie” Brown (Mary), Leon Francis (Marie), Bill Francis (Sonja), and a daughter Jennifer Francis, who will carry forward her legacy of love and resilience. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald "Roy" Agustus Francis.

Jean’s love, laughter, her love of life, and steadfast faith will forever be a guiding light for her family and all whose lives she touched. We were blessed with her long life, and her memory will be a blessing to us all. She will be deeply missed and remembered forever.
