Obituary of Mrs. Eleni (Heleni) Mintsopoulos

August 6th, 1940 - November 7th, 2024

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eleni (Heleni) Mintsopoulos on Thursday, November 7th, 2024, at the age of 84, surrounded by her family. 

Cherished wife of Stavros and loving mother of Noula and Peter (Fotini). She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Stephen (Laurel) and Christina. 

Eleni was born on August 6th, 1940, in Vevi, Florina Greece. 

Eleni was an incredible sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend to so many, always there to help anyone in need. She prioritized her family with her constant love and devotion and protected them through thick and thin. Eleni was an amazing person and had a fun, loving personality. She enjoyed a good laugh and had a love for gardening. 

Friends and family are welcome to pay tribute to her at Ogden Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, Ontario M1S 1T3 on Wednesday, November 13th, 2024, for a visitation between 4:00pm to 8:00pm. 

A funeral service will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Thornecliffe Park Drive, East York, Ontario M4H 1H8, on Thursday, November 14th, 2024, at 10:30am. 

Interment will follow at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough, Ontario M1K 1R1. 

Eleni had a beautiful soul and her strength was unmatched. She touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she rest in peace and may her memory be eternal.
