Mrs. Snow was my kindergarten teacher. I will always remember her as someone that always had a smile on her face, happiness and excitement in her voice and love and caring in her heart. She saw me through my first two years of school and soon after my mom and her became good friends, in fact she was my mom's best friend. Even though our families grew up and started to go their own ways, they remained close. When Mrs. Snow would come over just to chat with mom, she didn't seem to have changed one bit. She still greeted me with a smile and a hug and talked to me with a certain happiness, a bounce in her voice, that made it seem that she didn't have a care in the world--that nothing bothered her. Her focus was always on putting the concerns of others before hers. Mom loved the phone calls from Mrs. Snow over the years, hearing about her family, Patrick and Nancy, and just catching up.
You don't get to know someone like Mrs. Snow for 30 years without he having an impact on your life.
Mrs. Snow, Roberta, you will be missed.
Condolences from me and my family go out to her family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. As it is often said, she may be gone from our sight but never from our hearts. May she rest in peace.
