My condolences to the family. I worked on John's Police platoon, in fact, our clothing lockers were beside each other. Always joking and both of us complaining about the shift work. John was also a great mechanic who fixed my boat and trucks. Going to miss you big Guy.

Q: How did you meet Mr. John?
A: How did I meet John? We'll that was August 2016, John was looking for a split VW Beetle that he had given up on He had been looking for over a year or so at that point. I happened to be scrolling online and saw a wanted ad from John for that model car, so I called him and said I know alot of people in the split VW world I can find you one. A few days later I found him one for sale in Ontario.
Here is how our conversation started he asked me if he can see the car I said Nope. I said if you want it he will deliver it and that's it. He said how can I buy a car I can't see, I said we'll that's the way it is. These cars are from the (Bat Cave) that's my way of saying all these collectors don't want people knowing where they keep their cars. As John tells his family this story they are all convinced I'm a crook and it's a scam. Well to make a long story short John bought the car and saw it for the first time when it was being delivered to him a week or so later. Ever since then we talked all the time almost daily and our Friendship grew ever since. JOHN I will miss our daily Chats, Thank you for being a Loyal Man Bro. I Surley will Miss being Your Man Bro.
Rest in Peace My Friend.

Bill Teresa and the staff at Bill’s Truck Shop are devastated to hear about John’s passing. He was a larger than life presence when he came in to the shop with a smile on his face and a joke and entertaining story to tell. Sincere condolences to Lynette and family. He will be greatly missed

What can I say, what a sad loss it is for everyone who ever met you. You were such a great guy and at least I am one of the lucky ones to have met you. I think my lasting memory has to be the many hilarious stories you had to share. I can quite honestly say until last summer I had never ever passed out from laughing, but when you told us the s#!t attack story I laughed so hard I actually passed out. You have a new audience now, so go knock their socks off, until we meet again - Matt.
