Avril Locke, beloved widower, father, grand-father, great grand-father, brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones, on October 11, 2024 at 9:04pm at the age of 80. He was born on February 24, 1944 in Cave, Westmoreland, Jamaica West Indies.
Avril Locke is predeceased by his wife Ruby Jean Locke; survived by his children Morris, Donovan, Ravel, Dwayne, Kerry and Jason; grand-children Mya, Jayden, Kendra, Janisa, Isabel, Isaiah, Justin, Khalil, Layla, Kaleb, Caprece, Khamani, Natalya, Raquelle, Braylen, Antoinette, Catanya, Nickeysha, Ryon, Kevin, Shawn, Natalia; great grand-children Amayah, Amari, Azariah, Aubrey, Ace, Saniya, Levi Cai, Caira, Kahil, Kaheel, Malia; predeceased by sister Panzie, survived by siblings Roy, Algie, Henry, Lorna and Eardley, as well as many dear friends and colleagues.
Though Avril is no longer with us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He showed us how to face challenges with grace and how to celebrate life fully. He taught us the importance of kindness and the value of family, and we will carry his lessons with us always.
We love you, Dada, Dad, Papa, Villy, Tantu, Grandad, Papa Villy, Mr. Locke, Anthony, Avril, Orville, Sonny boy….Forever in our hearts.

A celebration of his life will be held on November 2nd, 2024 at 11am, Salvation Army, Agincourt Community Church, 3080 Birchmount Road, Scarborough ON M1W 3K3.
