Obituary of Mrs. Phyllis Noreen Randolph
Phyllis Noreen Randolph peacefully passed on Saturday October, 5th, 2024. She was born on July 7th, 1929, in Kolkata, India. She is predeceased by her parents Percy and Peggy McMaster and beloved husband Bertram “Bertie,’ Randolph (October 1921 – January 1995).
She is survived by her loving children Leon Randolph, Rudolph Randolph, Tyrone Randolph, Angelina Richter, Mildred Halder, Fredrick Randolph, Rowen Randolph and Samantha Randolph-Heath; her cherished grandchildren Michael, Diana, Sabrina, Errol, Alicia, Clayton, Vanessa, Ryan, Roxanne, Falen, Sheldon, Raquel, Erika and Tristan and precious great-grandchildren Ezra, Xavier, Elijah, Jade, Brayden, Neo and Jovan.
Phyllis loved her family unconditionally. Every thought, prayer and concern that she had involved them, their happiness and well-being. She had the greatest sense of humour, often brass and sarcastic, she was able to make everyone laugh in seconds. She was unapologetically honest and outspoken with her thoughts and feelings and we simply loved and adored her for it!
Throughout her entire life, Phyllis remained devoted to her Catholic faith. She attended Church every Sunday (up until her stroke) and switched over to watching the daily mass on tv in addition to reciting the rosary. She was often accused of “over storming heaven,” and told to leave some prayers and requests for everyone else. LOL.
Phyllis was extremely passionate about and loved to cook, bake (she made the best plain and walnut cake) garden, shop, play cards (and win) and unwaveringly backed and cheered on the Toronto Blue Jays despite being told they are “rubbish.”
To say that she will be missed is the biggest understatement possibly made. Forever would not be long enough. Although she will be mourned and grieved for eternity, we know that she is amongst the loveliest of Angels in heaven. When you look up at the sky and see the brightest star shining above, know that is Phyllis, heaven’s newest Angel spreading her beautiful wings.
