It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Carol Ann Simpkin on September 16, 2024, in the comfort of her home. Born on September 2, 1961, in Brampton, Ontario, Carol was a beloved wife, mother, and friend. 

 

She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, Keith, her loving children, Chris and Michelle, and her cherished sister, Linda.  

 

Carol was the heart and soul of her family, and her love for her dogs, Harley and Dakota, was undeniable. She was deeply committed to her friends and family. She found joy in spending time at the family cottage, sharing coffee with friends, and losing herself in a good book. Her warmth and kindness will be forever cherished by those who knew her. 

 

Her family asks that she be remembered for the happiness she brought to others, rather than the sorrow of her passing. 

 

Visitation will take place at Ogden Funeral Home on September 22, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Flowers are welcome but not necessary. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated.
