Obituary of Mr. Clive McDonald Ramdeen
Clive Ramdeen, age 88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 23, 2024 in Toronto, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on July 21, 1936, to Elsie and German Ramdeen in St. James, Trinidad, Clive, better know as "Rudy", was one of 7 siblings. In 1968 he married his beloved wife Cynthia, with whom he had 4 beautiful children - Gillian, Colin, Jenise and Arianne.
In 1987, Rudy, Cynthia and their children migrated to Canada, where he worked as an accountant. Theirs was a love story spanning 56 years - one which saw them welcome 7 adoring grandchildren - Djenan, Gianna, Phoenix, Caidan, Ashton, Aria and Caleb.
Clive, survived by his siblings, Janet and Winston (aka Nicky) lived a life defined by compassion, humility, and selflessness. His quiet strength, keen sense of humour and unwavering love for family were the hallmark traits of his character.
