Obituary of Mr. Clifford Wong
Clifford Wong, age 77, passed away July 13, 2024. He was born in Guyana, South America, to Charles and Florence (nee Chang) Wong.
He was the beloved husband of Gloria (nee Persaud) Wong; dear father of Cary Wong, dear brother of Yvonne Gater, Olyve Schuler and Claudette Hessberger. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Irene Choo-Kang, Thelma Sam and Norma Buehler.
Clifford enjoyed gardening and rallying. He found joy in pastoral duties and in bringing comfort to others through the scriptures. He looked forward to family get togethers and was always deemed the “responsible adult.”
Visitation: Ogden Funeral Home located at 4164 Sheppard Avenue E. Scarborough at 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Services: Funeral service at St. Matthew the Apostle-Oriole located at 80 George Henry Blvd. North York at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024. Interment following immediately after.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Matthew the Apostle-Oriole.
