Obituary of Mrs. Patricia Yee-Young

Patricia Yee-Young

It is with sadness, that we announce the passing of Patricia Yee-Young.  Who peacefully passed away on June 24, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  

Patricia (also referred to as Pat or Patsy) was born in Carenage, Trinidad and Tobago on March 28, 1944 to Otto and Mena Chin Leung Fatt (both predeceased).  She married her husband, Michael Yee-Young on September 8, 1974 and started building their family. 

Patricia laughed and enjoyed the little things in life and was constantly on the go!  Her love for cooking and baking will be missed by family and friends. She also enjoyed spending countless hours tending to her garden.  As well, her love for music had her dancing every moment she could.  Her grandson Jacob was her pride and joy, spending time holding and cuddling him for hours on end.

Patricia is survived by her husband Michael, children Gail (Errol John) and Vanessa (Shane) and grandson Jacob.  She also survives through her siblings Affor, Mary, Neville and Bridget.  It is without question that Patricia will be remembered as a strong willed, happy, fun loving, generous, caring and dependable person, who cherished her family and friends.
