Mrs. Emiliana Orencia

Obituary of Mrs. Emiliana Orencia

Please share a memory of Mrs. Emiliana to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Emiliana Zambrano Orencia, was born on December 6, 1941, to Filomeno and Carmen Zambrano. She was 82 years old when she passed away and was taken by terminal illness on June 6, 2024. Emiliana is predeceased by parents and siblings Segundina and Jose and survived by her sister Gliceria.

Emiliana was known to be an independent, self-sufficient and a determined nurturer.  She embodied a fearless warrior, with strength of spirit and having unconditional tough love given to her husband, children, entire family and countless others.

On November 24, 1965, she married the love of her life, our dear father, Roberto Orencia who she met at Tiongson Industries, and started raising a family in 20th Avenue, Quezon City where they were blessed to have 6 children. Five of which were first named Maria, identified as 5 Maria's and a son named Romil who passed away at the age of 3 days. She was blessed with ten grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Emiliana left work and chose to become a full time stay at home mother, while Papa worked at a canning company. They started raising a pig farm to support the growing family which helped with their children's education. In between the busy lifestyle, Emiliana remained committed to her faith and spiritual journey. She regularly attended mass in Black Nazarene and traveled in the early hours to Our Lady of Manaoag regardless of the weather.

She was passionate in her solo trips near or far and travelled well between Philippines, Canada, Australia and the United States of America. She enjoyed going to famous places and would always strike a pose for a photo.

Sadly, Papa passed away 20 years and one day from her date of passing. However, we are comforted to know that our Mama and Papa are now reunited and resting peacefully in heaven. We are sincerely grateful to family and many friends who have given us support and comfort during this difficult time of loss.

We encourage anyone who had the privilege to meet her to share any memories you have on her tribute wall.  A viewing service is scheduled for 5 - 8pm on Friday, June 14, 2024 and funeral service will be on Saturday, June 15 from 10:30am at OGDEN Funeral Homes, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Toronto, Ontario. Live streaming of her memorial service will be available from this site.
