Miss Karen Joy Hoilette's sun rose in Toronto, ON on a beautiful Saturday morning in September 1970.

 

She attended school and lived in Scarborough for the majority of her life where she will be missed by much family and friends that she left behind. 

 

Karen had joy in her life through her work as an engineer, her love for good food, traveling and loving her loved ones.  She loved good music, TV series and movies.  She had a passion for cooking, trying new recipes and feeding those she cared for.

 

Karens sun set on a beautiful Saturday night in June 2024 surrounded with love.  She is gone but not forgotten as she will remain in the hearts of all for eternity. 

 

In honor of who Karen was we will celebrate her life cut short by breaking bread together in a lively manner as she lived every day she had to the fullest.
