Obituary of Mr. Jean-Claude Chit Foon Lee Man Yan

It is with profound sadness that the family of Jean-Claude Chit Foon Lee Man Yan announces his peaceful passing on Sunday June 9, 2024, at the age of 70, surrounded by his loved ones.

Loving husband to Marie Claire, beloved and devoted father to Nathalie (Kevin) and Thierry, cherished grandfather to Alex and Amy, Jean-Claude will be deeply missed and always remembered by his family.

Born in Mauritius, Jean-Claude was proud of his roots. He immigrated to Canada in 2018 so he could be closer to his children and grandchildren. Jean-Claude had a heart of gold. He was kind, generous, selfless, hardworking and always ready to help someone. Most of all, Jean-Claude was a proud grandfather and he loved spending quality time with his loved ones. Always up for a social gathering, he enjoyed good food and entertaining conversations with his family and friends. He had a passion for line dancing. He enjoyed watching French shows, major sports events on TV and was an avid tennis fan. He will be fondly remembered by his relatives and friends around the world for his big heart and helpful nature.

Although he is no longer here with us, his love and the memories we share together will continue to live on. He will be deeply missed and will be forever in our hearts. Rest in peace.
