Evans "Monty" Mohammed

November 19, 1956 - May 29, 2024

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Monty Mohammed on May 29, 2024, at the age of 67 years.

Monty peacefully passed away at home.

Loving father of Nicole, Danielle, and Randell. He will be sadly missed by his three grandchildren, Destiny, Kieran, and Hero, and his soon-to-be-born granddaughter. Dear brother to Mike, Marilyn, Maureen, Mona, and Ava. Greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.

Monty's greatest joys were the simple things in life: spending time with his family and friends, watching sports, and listening to old-time soca. He was an Accounting Assistant Supervisor at OPSEU for over 31 years, where he was respected and cherished by his colleagues. Always with a smile, he brought warmth and kindness to everyone he met.

There will be a celebration of life after his funeral service on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at The Don On The Danforth, 15 Chisholm Ave, Toronto, M4C 4V1 (Main St & Danforth Ave), from 4-8 pm.
