Isabelo Sison Viray, Jr. peacefully passed away on May 24, 2024, surrounded by his family.  He was born on November 12, 1936 to parents Isabelo dela Cruz Viray and Esperanza Sison Viray in Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines where he grew up.  

He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years. Catalina Maravilla Viray, daughter Rosemarie Maravilla Viray, son John Eric Maravilla Viray, daughter-in-law Erika Dawn Green Viray, and granddaughter Ava Isabella Ann Viray.  He is also survived by his siblings, Aurora Viray Madarang, Haydee Viray Clarke, Villamor Sison Viray, Thelma Viray Tamondong and Marlinita Viray Munsayac, as well as many family members and friends.

Isabelo also known as Billy attended elementary and high school at St. Columban’s Academy in Lingayen.  Billy studied pre-law at Lyceum of the Philippines.

Billy and his family immigrated to Canada in 1974 where he worked at Union Carbide Canada and Toronto Western Hospital until his retirement in approximately 2001.
