With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Osmond A. Buchanan, who departed from this world on May 24, 2024, at the age of 69. Born on September 8, 1954, in Westmoreland, Jamaica, Osmond was a cherished member of our family and community.

Osmond led a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, and a loyal friend to many. His sense of humor touched the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Osmond had a zest for life that was evident in his love for music, game shows, baseball, and Western movies. He embraced every moment with joy and enthusiasm.

Osmond is survived by his loving wife, Tatsy Myers Buchanan; his son, Quain Buchanan; daughter-in-law, Kattia Delgado-Buchanan; and granddaughters, Sibongile, Quiana, and Kalia Buchanan, who will forever cherish his memory. He is also remembered by his siblings, Windell Buchanan, Shirley Buchanan, and Roy Buchanan, along with his loving nieces, nephews, and extended family who hold him dear in their hearts.

A celebration of Osmond's life will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Ogden Funeral Homes, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Agincourt, Ontario, M1S 1T3. We invite all who knew and loved Osmond to join us in honoring his remarkable life and legacy.

In place of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
