Obituary of Mr. Jack Stone

Stone, Jack Lyle passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 20^th, 2024 in his 94^th year. Loving and devoted spouse for 61 years of the late Eileen (nee Dunlop).  Jack will be fondly remembered by his children Cathy (Ray), Michael (Jo), Kevin (Heather), grandchildren, Laurie (Jeremy), Cheryl (Scott), Steven (Katelyn), Erin (Max), Lynsey, Leslie (Uvin), Colleen (Brad), Amanda, Ethan, Connor and Kieran, and great grandchildren, Austin, Ryan, Makayla, Sophie, Grayson and Ryleigh and many nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his parents, Lionel and Rosetta and his brothers, Bob and Jim.  Prior to starting his over 35 year career as a pharmacist, he worked at the soda counter and as a delivery boy at various pharmacies.  During his time at university, he was a member of the Hart House Revolver Club and continued as a member until it closed in 2007.  Jack was a skilled woodworker and created many cherished family heirlooms in his basement workshop. He was also an avid photographer and would be the one behind the camera capturing memories of family vacations and other events. He will be fondly remembered for his love and pride in his family, his kindness to others and his ingenuity.  He took great joy in spending time with family which he did as often as possible. If desired, donations may be made to the Salvation Army in lieu of flowers.
