Obituary of Mrs. Linda Tuba

TUBA, Linda Marie (née Peddlesden)

It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of Linda. She peacefully left our world at home, on April 29, 2024, at the age of 83. Beloved and cherished wife of Victor. Treasured mother to Kathy-Lynn & Leanna. Devoted Nana to Priscilla & her great grandson Preston. Linda was the matriarch of the Tuba family. Predeceased by her parents, Frank & Priscilla (Nee Collins) & her brothers John & Paul.  Linda grew up in Trenton, Ont. She graduated at Hotel Dieu in 1961 as a Registered Nurse & married Victor on October 6, 1962.  Linda & Victor travelled the world.  She loved to play & watch tennis. She was a gourmet cook, an accomplished baker & always the perfect hostess who made everyone feel welcomed. She was an award winning gardener who also enjoyed antiquing & fashion.  Poised, finessed and with unmatched beauty, opulence and grace, Linda will be dearly missed and fondly remembered. Resting at Odgen Funeral Home, 4164 Sheppard Avenue East, Scarborough, Ont. Visitation- Saturday May 4, 2024 at 2:00 pm followed by a Catholic Funeral at 3:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church would be appreciated.
