Tribute to Aunt Sybil
In Loving Memory
Today, as we gather to honor the life of our beloved Aunt Sybil Moncrieffe, our hearts are filled with
both sorrow and gratitude. We, Yvonne Brissett (Junie) and her children Natoy, Simone, Codian,
Shamara, and Adrian, stand together to celebrate the beautiful life of a woman who touched each of
us in profound ways.
Aunt Sybil was not just a relative; she was a beacon of warmth, love, and unwavering support. Her
presence in our lives was like a comforting embrace, always there to offer guidance,
encouragement, and a listening ear. Whether it was her infectious laughter, her comforting hugs, or
her sage advice, Aunt Sybil had a way of making us feel cherished and valued.
Her beauty was not just skin deep; it radiated from within, emanating kindness, compassion, and
grace. Aunt Sybil's gentle spirit and generous heart knew no bounds. She had a rare gift for making
everyone feel welcomed and accepted, regardless of who they were or where they came from. Her
ability to see the best in others and her capacity for unconditional love left an indelible mark on all
who were fortunate enough to know her.
As we reflect on Aunt Sybil's life, we are reminded of the countless memories we shared together –
from family gatherings filled with laughter and joy to quiet moments of reflection and connection.
Her love was the glue that bound our family together, and her absence leaves a void that can never
be filled.
Though Aunt Sybil may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who
knew and loved her. We take solace in knowing that her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will
continue to inspire us for generations to come.
Today, as we bid farewell to Aunt Sybil, we do so with heavy hearts but also with profound gratitude
for the gift of her presence in our lives. She will be dearly missed by her extended family, who were
touched by her love and warmth.
Aunt Sybil, you were a shining light in our lives, and though you may be gone, your memory will
forever shine brightly in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Aunt, knowing that you were deeply loved
and will never be forgotten.
With all our love,
Yvonne Brissett (Junie) and Family

Dear Sybil,
Livi and I are saddened to hear of your passing, when I think of you, I can't help but think of the kindness you showed me from the moment we met. So kind, friendly, loving, I will always cherish the Grand Lodge weekends, I looked so forward to them, knowing how much fun we would have, the shopping, the walks, the laughter and the silliness, the bus trips were also a favourite because I knew together we would have such fun! When Livi and I were married, I knew you had to be my Maid Of Honor, and then because we planned our wedding around a Convention, we were all together in New Orleans, I will cherished the moments, think back and smile at all the good times. Thank you Sybil, for being such a good friend.
May you rest in Peace,
Livi & Claudia

As I reflect on the fleeting moments we shared during your visits to Chambers Pen, I am filled with gratitude for the memories we created, however brief.
Aunt Sybil, you were more than a distant relative; you were a link to our family's past, a connection to a legacy of love and resilience that continues to shape who we are today. Though our encounters were few, the warmth of your smile and the kindness in your heart left an enduring mark on my soul.
As I bid farewell to you today, I do so with a sense of reverence and gratitude for the role you played in my life, however fleeting. Though our time together was limited, the love and kinship we shared as family remain etched in my heart, a testament to the bonds that transcend time and distance.
