Obituary of Mr. Vincent "Vin" George Marshall

We honour the memory and celebrate the life of Vincent Marshall fondly known as Vin to those who knew him best.

He was born in St Vincent and grew up on Lucas Street, St. George’s, Grenada. He attended the Grenada Boys Secondary School (G.B.S.S.). Vin’s journey led him to Ontario, Canada where he pursued higher education at Ryerson University.

Vin was predeceased by his mother, Ena Marshall (Duncan), father George Marshall, and brother Denis Marshall. His legacy is carried on by:

 

His beloved wife Gloria Ferguson Marshall, who was the love of his life

 

Children: Naikka (Sandra); Aiyana (Rohan); and Koryn Marshall

 

Brother: Carl Marshall (Pat) and his family

 

Grandchildren: Khalid Sawyers, Kyann Minto, Madeline Hebbes, Ashlee Menegol-Marshall, Shenae Menegol-Marshall and Selah Godfrey

 

In-Laws: Greta Redhead, Pat (Rose) Ferguson, Patsy Mayers, Fay (Reddy) Payne, Germaine (Ed) Wilson, Jessie Ferguson-Edwards, Ian (Charmian) Ferguson and their children.

 

Vin’s numerous nieces and nephews, across Canada and USA.

Vin’s love for life, soccer (the beautiful game), especially Arsenal, and the joy he brought to every gathering will be deeply missed but forever remembered. His legacy of kindness, humour and love leaves an indelible mark on us all.

 

Vin’s visitation and funeral service will provide an opportunity for those who cherished him to come together in remembrance and celebration of his remarkable life.
