Obituary of Mr. Patrick Irwin Houlahan

On Sunday, March 17th, 2024 we lost one of the best people to have ever lived.

We are incredibly sad to announce the passing of Patrick Irwin Houlahan who died suddenly at home in Ottawa, in his 63rd year.

Born, January 27th, 1962, in Ottawa to Kenneth and Doris Houlahan (nee Snow), (both predeceased).

Pat leaves a big gap in our hearts and will be sorely missed by his spouse, Tanya, and sons; Mitchell (girlfriend Sydney), Stephen,John and his beloved dog Raven. Predeceased by his adored dogs Musky and Beauty.  He will be deeply missed by his sisters, Penny (Peter) and Darlene (Monty), and his many nieces and nephews. Pat has many cousins that will miss him as well, especially Steve, who Pat considers a brother.  Pat also leaves behind a number of other family members including his aunts and uncles, in-laws and extended family which include the McLean and Easton family.

Pat always brought a smile to everyone’s face, from the people he worked with during his long work career to the many friends.

If you would like to pay your respects you are welcome to join us for either of the arrangements we are holding in his honor at Ogden Funeral Home.  Visitation is being held on Friday, March 22nd 5-8pm and a service on Saturday, March 23rd at 1pm.  We invite you to make a donation to MS Canada in his honour, in lieu of flowers.
