Passed away suddenly on March 16 at the age of 76.
Left to mourn him are his beloved wife and best friend of 53 years, Anna, and his dear son, Christopher Paul (Anna).
Steve was born in Montreal on December 13, 1947, the son of Maynard Francis and Olga (Lawson).
He is predeceased by his sister Diane.
Steve was a history teacher and taught for many years in the North York Board of Education. He embraced teaching and was much beloved by his students. Everybody he met enjoyed his enthusiasm for life and his great sense of humour.
Steve loved travel, people, dogs, curling, golf, and reading. He had many friends and he will be missed.
