I have so many amazing and fun memories of aunt Pauline and uncle Jim. Spending time skiing, Christmas gatherings, or just a visit to have lunch. As kids we had a few sleepovers at their house in Scarborough. On one of these visits I can remember doing crafting in the basement. I was probably around 6 or 7 at the time and I eas having trouble cutting out shapes from the paper. Aunt Pauline gave me some advice, “ it’s easier if you cut off the big pieces first, then you can cut away the small pieces”. At the time it was the perfect advice and I continued on my craft. The funny thing is that advice has stuck with me to this day. Everytime I’m faced with a large task, I can hear her voice helping me to take away the big pieces, be patient and focus. Sending lots of love to everyone, family and friends. I will miss aunt Paulie, and will always have her words of encouragement to keep me moving forward.
