With very heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Virna Fung-Sin Yuen. She passed peacefully with family by her side. She is survived by her husband, Raymond, her son, Fitzgerald (Jennifer), daughter, Sara (David), and grandchildren, Sawyer, Hunter, Ryder and Aria. She will be deeply missed by her siblings, many nieces and nephews, and close friends, whom she all loved and cared for like family.
Virna was so full of love that she connected with everyone in her life. She was like the sun; she drew everyone in around her. One of Virna's joys in life was eating delicious food. Her mom used to scold Virna for always walking home from school with a snack in her hand and food in her mouth. Her biggest joy was taking care of her loved ones. She was an excellent cook and she showed her love through food. She always hosted big family dinners and everyone always praised her cooking.
As well as being incredibly loving, Virna was also an amazingly strong woman. She persistently stayed strong through her last year of life. Despite all the difficulties that came her way, she still cared for her husband and her children - a testament to the endless love she had for her loved ones.
We all wish we had many more years to revel in Virna's love and to indulge in her cooking. We wish we could have had more time to return at least a fraction of the love she gave us. Instead, we take solace in knowing that her untimely end was comfortable and most of all, peaceful.
We would also like to express our gratitude to everyone who made a positive impact in her final journey and those who made it a little less difficult in an incredibly challenging time for her family.

因為母親的細心照顧，我們是從小就在她細心的照顧、耐心的教導與全心的支持下，順利成長，成家、立業後又給我們足夠的包容和體諒，歷經諸多考驗，更讓我們體會到母親的辛苦和不凡。我們相信母親一生無私的奉獻，已累積了足夠的福報，佛菩薩一定會接引她到西方極樂世界。
最親愛的母親：我們每一個人永遠永遠都愛著您、永遠永遠都會懷念您的。

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday February 7 at Ogden Funeral Homes. Visitation times will be 8:15 to 9:30 AM. Funeral service will begin at 9:30 AM. After service, we will head to the crematorium at Highland Hills Funeral Home & Cemetery (12492 Woodbine Ave, Gormley, ON, L0H 1G0) for cremation at 11 AM for our final farewell.
