Obituary of Mr. Brian Da Silva
Brian Edgar Da Silva, born May 5th 1943 in Georgetown, British Guyana, passed away on January 29th 2024 at the age of 59 (US).
He was an esteemed accountant who held the position of tax commissioner for Bermuda in the 1990s. His role was notable as Bermuda does not levy any taxes, allowing him to some extra free time to indulge in some tennis and the occasional Dark 'n Stormy.
Brian will be deeply missed by his siblings Ron, Ivor, Daphne, Wendy, and Wanda, and his nephews and nieces, and his many dear friends. Brian is reunited with his brothers John and Ian, his parents, and his beloved son, Mark.
Known for his wit, humor, and lively spirit, he was always the life of the party. His quick, cutting, and light-hearted humor brought joy to all who knew him. Brian leaves behind a legacy of laughter and love that will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
