Austin was a dear friend to all that knew him. A very honest hard working dedicated individual that would do anything for anybody.
His wonderful smile brought joy and happiness to us all. Austin left us with very fond memories and his humour that he portrayed in the cartoons, that he helped create.

Sending my sincere condolences to family and friends of Austin. His memory will remain in my heart forever.
In the rising of the sun and in its going down,
we remember them.
In the blowing of the wind and in the chill of winter,
we remember them.
In the opening of buds and in the rebirth of spring,
we remember them.
In the blueness of the sky and in the warmth of summer,
we remember them.
In the rustling of leaves and in the beauty of autumn,
we remember them.
In the beginning of the year and when it ends,
we remember them.
When we are weary and in need of strength,
we remember them.
When we are lost and sick at heart,
we remember them.
When we have joys, we yearn to share,
we remember them
So, long as we live, they too shall live,
for they are now a part of us,
as we remember them.

Austin was my good Saint Stanislaus buddy in the early days of our lives, 5th, 6th, and 7th standard, we reconnected 25 years later in Canada and kept in touch. He was smart, funny and good with words.
Austin's picture was taken in my home at my retirement party 10 years ago.

God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So he put His arms around you
And whispered "Come to me."
With tearful eyes we watched you
As you slowly slipped away
And though we loved you dearly
We couldn't make you stay.
Your golden heart stopped beating
Your tired hands put to rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
All our Love & Respect

My loving memory of you will be our last phone call. It makes me smile to think about it.
We laughed and shared love and gratitude about times we have spent together.
Your great sense of humour. Big and generous heart. And courageous to the end.
You will be greatly missed by your family and friends but you have no more pain and suffering.
Rest in peace, dear Austin. You have left this world but you have left a legacy of love, laughter and kindness.
love Liz B

Our condolences to the family, Austin is now pain free and at peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Remember him so fondly for his wit and cheerful outlook on everything, he always had the last word that was tinged with wit sometimes caustic and always humorous.
He has touched the lives of so many and given solace to persons he did not know but assisted anyway. He was dedicated to helping everyone even at risk to himself.
A thoughtful and caring human being always.
May his soul Rest in Peace.

Uncle Austin always gave amazing kisses to the kids. My last memory of him was going to visit him on Christmas and he kissed my newborn daughter Florence and she gave him the biggest smile - so much so that he emailed us the next day reminiscing of that moment. It was so special for all of us …. Will miss you Uncle Austin … Rest in Peace
