Glenmore Percival Henery

On the morning of December 28, 2023, Glenmore Percival Henery passed away peacefully at the Scarborough General Hospital, Toronto, Canada. He was 100 years.
Glenmore was born in Eversham Village, Corentyne, Guyana, South
America to Alan and Francess Henery.
Glenmore spent most of his life in Guyana, where he married Princess nee Fraser.
From an early age, Glenmore had a passion for electrical work. He displayed an innate talent for understanding the complexities of
circuits and wiring, crafting a passion that guide his life. His commitment to craft was unwavering, and his determination propelled him to reach new heights.
He embarked on a correspondence course in Electrical Studies from the
United States. His tenacity allowed him to acquire a certificate that elevated his skills to unprecedented levels.
Glenmore transformed his theoretical knowledge into practice and held an Electrical Supervisory Status while being employed for
forty years with the Bauxite Industry as the name changed from Demba, to Guybau, then Guymine when he retired in 1988.
In 1988, Glenmore and his family migrated to Canada. He changed his career, worked for 11 years, then retired for the second time in keeping with his preference to spend quality time with his wife.
Glenmore was a well-respected family-oriented individual with a positive attitude, a mentor with good work ethics, and a father figure for many who loved his demeanor.
Glenmore was preceded by his parents Alan and Francess Henery, siblings Clarietta, Caroline Elizabeth, John, Tabita, Roland, Leonard, Charles, Benjamin, and Cecil, wife Princess, Mother and Father-in-law Huntley and Ellen Fraser, six Brothers-in-law and seven Sisters-in-law.
Survived by six precious children Yvonne, Daphne, Lorraine (Megan), Janice (Donna), Wayne and Shellane, nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, daughter in law, sons-in-law, and granddaughters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, grand daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces/nephews, cousins, Godsons, Goddaughters and other relatives and friends.
