Dear Donna and family, I am so sad to hear of the passing of your mom. She was a lovely lady and I will always be happy that I got to know Carol, Josie and Tulie...together forever. They lived in a time that was so special ...growing up with family, friends, neighbours and a sense of history and tradition in there daily lives and they were so proud. I can hear them laughing! That generation really was special! I know how hard it is to lose a parent....especially when your mom has been in your life for such a long time. They wonderful thing is that you had your mom so close to you and not everyone can say that. I know that you will reflect on all the sweet memories and pass all the love and knowledge she gave to you down to your grandchildren. Our sincere condolences to you, Russ and all the family. Our deepest condolences, prayers and thoughts are with Donna & Russ, Jesse & Caitlin, Everly & Lily, Jenna, Justin & Austin in the loss of your beloved mom, mother-in-law, grandma & grandmama. The Hammond family has many wonderdul memories of Julie and she was very special to all of us. We enjoyed many Cook/Hammond get togethers and Julie will be deeply missed. Julie was a caring and loving friend. We will miss her candor, quick wit and sense of humour. We hope you enjoy as many small decafs as your heart desires. Rest in peace Julie.
