Although I only knew Peter for a short time - 4 years, I eventually became very close to him. Peter was like an uncle to me.
I would go to his apartment and help fix the air-conditioning, cable box, phone, or render any assistance he needed.
Once or twice a week we picked up groceries for him when we went out. He had an odd fixation with bananas so we'd make sure to get him half ripened bananas. Lol
I will cherish the memory of every moment I had with Peter - every conversation, every trip to the grocery strore with him, and everytime we took food to him.
