Our Deepest Sympathy to Brian’s Wife Irene, Family and Friends. Sixty-six years ago I met the Martell family because I delivered the Toronto Star to their home. My brother Paul has been a close friend of Brian and Allan for many years, because we all grew up on Rhodes Ave. It is never easy to lose someone we love, but that love that was shared, no loss or sorrow, time or distance can ever take away. My condolences to Irene on the loss of her husband Brian, brother to Jerry, Carol, Allan, the late Patricia, and me. Brian was an ardent Raptors fan and enjoyed researching penny stocks. He always had a smile and only good things to say about others. He always was the voice of reason in difficult times. Brian fought hard and was courageous till the very end. I will greatly miss his wit, infectious smile, and warmth.

My prayers and heartfelt condolences to Irene and all the family. Brian was a great friend for so long, from Rhodes Avenue road hockey and other adventures as kids, then so much golf and then snooker in the latter years. The memories of those good times live on.
