Aunty Barbie, you devoted yourself to what and who you loved. You lived a life of service and independence. I remember stormy summers in Toronto, decades ago, curling up in your room, listening to you reap memories. Those snapshots of a girl you climbing trees or casually asking a lunch guest whether they were staying for dinner, too -- brief glimmers of a spirited youth. Rest now. Peace has come.
