Kevin will be greatly missed by all the students, staff and teachers who met him along his journey of life! I worked with him at Glen Ames for 9 years. Whether he was supplying for my class or in the classroom next to mine, we always helped one another out! Kevin, Lise Sullivan, Jeff Dantowitz & I did Duelling Banjos, You Are My Sunshine & Country Roads one year at Camp Wanakita for the Grade 8 Camping Trip Talent Show - so much fun! So many great memories! This year at Camp White Pine, Kevin & I did Country Roads in memory of Lise Sullivan! I will miss my singing mates! Bon courage Freya! xo

Kevin (Ross) Was Always A Lovng, Kind, Caring & Understanding/Supportive Hearted Man He Was Always Around Whenever You Needed Him Weather In Person, On The Phone You Knew He Always Got Your Back.

This was Ross back 1995 in Thunder Bay he looks just as I remember him. He showed up with this bike one day, I don't know where he got it or whose it was but it made him very happy. Ross was kind & funny a great person to have as a friend. He never took things too serious and could always make me laugh.

I knew Kevin as Ross. We were in the same class at Lakehead University and tackled the ORPT program together; with others, of course. Our program was all about teamwork and a sense of community. We all had each others back.
I experienced Ross exploring his music- playing the gutbucket; learning the banjo- there may have been a violin in there as well.
We enjoyed friend time together, with mutual friends, throughout school and for a few years afterwards. Many good memories.
I will remember him for his gentle nature and his curious mind. I am pleased to learn that he had such a positive impact on so many and had a great community surrounding him.
My sincere condolences to Kevin’s wife Freya and his family and friends.
Ross left a positive mark on many.
Thank you, Ross, for enriching my life. Jules.

Dearest Freya, I am deeply sorry for your loss. Be comforted, for the Lord tells us He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Kevin served the Lord faithfully. He will hear from his Master, “Well done, good and faithful servant.” So find rest in the promises of our God my sister. You are often in my thoughts and prayers.

I have known him since I was born. He was my Sunday school teacher and in my school, was my regular day teacher. I admired him because he was a very energetic teacher. He always taught me life lessons and stories about Jesus Christ. He will always be in my memories for being one of the best teachers to ever have. May the lord be with Freya and give her strength and refuge at this time.

Mr. Kevin was my Rock solid teacher. He was also my long-term Grade 7 substitute teacher. He always had a conversation with me about his two cats, who would cry in the middle of the night asking for food. He would like to bring plushys to school and in one occasion he helped me to write a test because I twisted my hand. I used to give him nickname "Mr. Pickles" which he liked. He was a kind-hearted person and I will miss him.
The lord is with him

I will always keep this photo in my heart. I had the opportunity to have him Sunday school and a elementary school teacher. He helped me learn about the lord Jesus Christ, and to put my trust in the lord. He taught me how to do the communion. I have wonderful memories of him and I will always treasure him in my heart until I see him again.

It was the summer of 2010, during my first year working at club Kodiak when i met Kevin (or as we at camp knew him "Ross"). Little did I know he would leave such a positive impact on me and we would become great friends over the years. I will always remember how upbeat and easy going Kevin was even though we had a very busy and often stressful job. At camp Kevin was a lifeguard and also taught sailing and knitting. Kevin was often up before the sun practicing on his keyboard and somehow found the energy to be a patient teacher throughout the day while socializing with fellow staff in the evenings.
Kevin, You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. love you buddy, Collin.

Kevin will be missed. He always had a good word to say about and to my 2 (very challenging) boys and a smile for me. As a sister in Christ I know that he is in the arms of the Lord. We are the poorer for the loss of him but he has no pain, only joy.
