Obituary of Mr. Stephen Gallant
August 14, 1930-October 14, 2023
Passed away peacefully Saturday October 14th, 2023, in Toronto with his beloved wife Ida, by his side. Born August 14th, 1930 to parents Dolph and Edna in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Steve is predeceased by seven of his eight siblings, and his two sons, Gordon and Adam. He leaves behind his two daughters, Kim and Cathy, 3 grandsons (Richard, Adam and Jacob) a granddaughter (Jackie) , 4 great grandchildren (Mercedes, Natalia, Max and Kashton) very dear friend and fishing buddy Mark Garrett, and many nieces and nephews, especially Howard, Patsy, and Sarah. An avid fisherman, and long-time friend of “Dr. Bob and Bill W.”, Steve will be dearly missed by his many friends and family. He was a good friend to so many people. Always caring, and always willing to lend a hand however he could.
We will never forget you, Pops.
Friends may call at the Ogden Funeral Home 4164 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1S 1T3 on Sheppard east of Midland. Visitation at 12:00 pm Thursday, October 19, 2023 followed by a service and reception. For those who wish, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society
