Uncle Y. K., you will be missed. As as child, I remembered you as a quiet person but when you spoke, you always had important things to say. I just learned of your love for poetry—which makes sense, as from a child’s view, you were noticed for speaking words with meaning.
I’m sharing two pictures from a family visit in 1999. One with Tom and your nephew, Mike. And the other, of the cousins, (Mike, John, Barbara (Mike’s wife), Amy, Helen and Uncle Y. K.) while spending time with our departed grandparents. Your presence around us was clearly welcomed and enjoyed. Thank you for the memories. You will live on in our hearts.
With love,
Your niece, Amy
