Thank you Dad for all the treasured memories that we will hold in our hearts forever. One of our favourite one in recent memory was how much you enjoyed learning to 5-pin bowl at the young age of 80. Your smile and laughs was so infectious.
You always were willing to try new things and easily went with the flow of what Mom and the family wanted to do. We all loved your eagerness to try new food and your zest and appetite for a good buffet!

Dad, thank you for all the good memories and love. You had a passion for fishing and shared that with us by teaching us how to fish. You patiently showed us how to bait the fishhook and eventually had to do it for us! Even though we sometimes did not catch any fish, we always had fun! To my father-in-law Jukens,
You may not have always understood what I was saying and I didn’t always understand what you were saying, but regardless, we had some really good times, I believe we not only became family, we became friends.

To my dear husband,
I miss you so much already. We were together for over 60 years, it’s hard to think of life without you so near. We created beautiful children and started our lives over from the beginning in South Africa and Canada. There were many adventures and unknowns for us but we made it through. During all the good and tough times we remained strong in our love for each other.
